Gingerbread House

A life-size Gingerbread House at the hotel’s Patisserie will delight guests of all ages, bringing an enchanting spectacle and helping set a magical scene for the holidays. Guests can order the roasted turkey 48 hours in advance and collect it from the hotel’s grand Patisserie, next to Blüthner Hall. As an accredited coach recognised by the International Coach Federation, Zeynep is known for her ability to manage stakeholders and inspirational leadership. Zeynep’s commercial acumen and her result-driven approach to business, enabled her to consistently develop high-impact sales and marketing strategies, enhanced by a comprehensive network and a commitment to excellence. MICHELIN STARRED CHEFS LAUNCH A NEW AUTHENTIC JAPANESE MENU AT MATAGI

Matagi, located in the palatial, five-star beachfront property Raffles The Palm Dubai, is taking a new culinary direction by introducing authentic Japanese cuisine created by two Michelin-starred chefs and a Japanese Sushi Master.

The bold new menu, that combines innovation and tradition, brings an elevated dimension to the venue. In the kitchen is Chef Shimoda, a Kappo Master Chef who brings over 40 years of expertise and has earned a reputation as one of the world’s most skilled and respected chefs. Working alongside him is Chef Kitana, a Master Chef who is known for combining authentic techniques such as Kappo and Kaiseki with a contemporary touch. Rounding out the team is Chef Kenji, a Sushi Master Chef and the youngest in the team but nevertheless, brings almost 20 years’ experience and an unmatched joy and passion for innovation and flavour.

Every dish features the freshest and highest quality ingredients, many sourced directly from authentic Japanese markets and suppliers, from kombu, a speciality seaweed, to dried bonito, a dried and smoked tuna, which are expertly used in authentic cooking, to create unforgettable dishes. The culinary team, who are committed to embracing seasonality, will ensure the menu showcases the finest ingredients at their peak, offering a dynamic and ever-evolving dining experience.

To start, diners can tuck into traditional Japanese dishes including the flavourful Tuna Tataki, served with charcoal seared Japanese Spring tuna with house-made ponzu, or Sashimi Moriase, a traditional yet fresh sushi selection including akami, salmon, chu-toro, scallops and yellowtail. Signature starters also include the Crispy Japanese Squid sprinkled with toragashi, and the artful Matagi Tuna Burger prepared with toro taku, monaka, kristal caviar and bafun uni.

The new main course menu features the traditional yet ever-popular Black Cod Robata, a saikyo miso marinated black cod with sesame and mitsuba, while signature dishes include the Grilled Rossy Sea Bass with rice cake and topped with jelly dashi, a dish which pays homage to a recipe first invented by Chef’s Shimoda’s mother; and a succulent Australian A5 Wagyu Beef Tenderloin with tasty yakikniku sauce, which can be enjoyed with a variety of colourful sides like asparagus coated with sesame dressing and Japanese rice.

Piatti by the Beach, located at the iconic Raffles the Palm Dubai, will transport guests to bella Italia with its array of chic dining experiences. Inspired by the culinary traditions, as well as the love and nostalgia woven throughout the flavours of the region, the legendary Chef Izu Ani is proud to helm the culinary operations of this highly esteemed venue with head chef Francesco Cortorillo.

A divine Summer Menu boasting an array of delicacies will give guests a glimpse into Italian heaven. Diners can start with a Crudi selection which includes Gillardeau Oysters served with Amalfi lemons, Carpaccio di Gambero, Sicilian red prawns with citrus zest and caviar twist, or Le Nostre Tartare, Piatti by the Beach’s selection of seabass, bluefin tuna, and beef tenderloin tartares. A variety of hot and cold starters are also available, including Burrata Pugliese DOP con Pomodori Datterino, Alici marinate in agrodolce, marinated anchovies with sweet and sour onions served with garlic bread, Polpettine al Sugo, wagyu meatballs with Neapolitan tomato ragout, as well as the scrumptious Parmigiana di Melanzane to name a few.

Guests can also opt for a selection of delicious fresh salads or try an indulgent pasta dish, such as the Tagliolini allo Scoglio, fresh tagliolini pasta with mussels, clams, prawns, squid and cherry tomatoes or the Linguine alla Eugenio with Carabineros prawns, Datterino tomatoes, mullet bottarga and lemon zest. For the mains, Piatti’s signature dishes will be served, such as the Cotoletta alla Milanese, the exquisite veal Milanese on the bone with rocket salad and cherry tomatoes, the Scampi o Gamberoni reali alla Griglia, Langoustines with King Prawns Carabineros on the grill, and the Catch of the Day, where the freshest fish in Dubai will be cooking to each diner’s preference, leaving guests saying “mamma mia”.

Upon completing a blissful meal, guests can treat themselves to a classic, creamy Tiramisu, Cannolo a modo nostro with Ricotta, pistachio, chocolate and candite orange or Tagliata di frutta, fresh fruits of the season.  

Little ones are not to be forgotten, with a special summer menu featuring some of the bambini’s favourite and most wholesome dishes such as the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina with smooth tomato sauce and mozzarella, Bocconcini di Pollo croccanti, deep fried chicken breast with French fries, Penne alla Bolognese, or the Filetti di Spigola impanati con Verdure, seabass fish fingers with vegetables.

Diners can also enjoy “GOTTI & CICCHETTI” (Wine and Italian Tapas), a lavishing wine-tasting menu with tapas pairing, on the breathtaking seafront terrace of Piatti by the Beach. MATAGI at Raffles The Palm Dubai is hosting an exclusive Chef’s Table experience that takes diners on a culinary journey through Japan.

On May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, the restaurant’s all-star team, comprising of a Japanese Sushi Master and two Michelin star-awarded chefs who combined have more than 90 years’ experience in authentic Japanese cooking, will serve a curated 9-course meal featuring the best of modern Japanese cuisine for up to 12 guests per night.

Priced from AED 750 per person for the non-alcoholic package and AED 950 per person with Saké and cocktail pairing, the experience brings an unmatched opportunity to sample unique dishes from MATAGI’s elevated menu at a one off, special event.

From 7PM onwards, diners will delve into authentic Japanese flavours, aromas, and textures created with the highest quality produce and traditional cooking techniques, all delivered with personalised and attentive service, with memorable touches such as a classic Japanese tea ceremony.

To start is the Fried Japanese Glass Fish, followed by a mouth-watering Chawanmushi, a steamed egg custard with king crab and bafun uni and a flavoursome MATAGI Tuna Burger with Kristal caviar. Chirashizushu comes next, a deconstructed sushi dish, which is followed by Spring Meji Tuna Tataki, a charcoal seared Japanese young spring tuna with delicious house made ponzu. The next course includes succulent A5 Wagyu Beef Maki with shiso and sweet soy, and a Charcoal Kissed Japanese Nodogury prepared with smoked spring bamboo shoot. A final course of A5 Wagyu Beef Shabu Shabu with spring mushrooms will be served, followed by a delectable dessert, comprising of ice cream which boasts the flavours of sesame and Japanese Mandarin.

The menu includes freshly baked bread made with the oldest know-how in Naples, delicately cooked lamb and exceptional homemade pasta. Later in the afternoon, an Easter themed Afternoon tea awaits at the dazzling Blüthner Hall, filled with masterfully crafted Italian furniture and sparkling Swarovski chandeliers, where a live pianist will set a sophisticated classical atmosphere from 2 PM to 6 PM. Guests can delight in sweet and savoury pastries while sipping their choice of Parisian teas by Nina’s Marie Antoinette, known for its teas filled with refreshing aromas and delightful flavours, or a refreshing glass of bubbly. No matter the choice, Easter Afternoon Tea at Blüthner Hall promises a moment of tranquillity priced from AED 425 per couple.

Raffles The Palm Dubai invites guests to journey to Japan with an authentic four-course menu crafted by Michelin-starred chefs at MATAGI, followed by an evening of live jazz at the award-winning SOLA Jazz Lounge.

The multi-faceted Japanese restaurant offers guests the opportunity to peek at what three newly appointed chefs bring to the table. Iftar starts with Minestra del giorno e Datteri, a minestrone soup to break the fast, followed by an antipasto including Burrata DOP con Pomodori datterino, Burrata with tomatoes and basil, Insalata Piatti, a mixed salad with heritage tomatoes artichoke and olives, and Polpettine al Sugo, wagyu meatballs in Neapolitan tomato ragout. The only aesthetic doctor to have their name on the Wall of Honour at the Royal Society of Medicine, she is renowned throughout the beauty world as a trailblazer. Created with her 25 years of medical aesthetic and anti-ageing experience, Dr Rakus’ treatments combine pioneering techniques and cosmetic treatments using the very latest in technology. Her London flagship clinic, in Knightsbridge, takes centre stage in the aesthetics industry, with a reputation as a hub for innovation and excellence.

New Raffles The Palm Wellness Menu treatments include Dr. Rita Rakus Ultimate Award-Winning Red-Carpet Facial, which promises to restore youthful, lifted, healthy skin using patented Vortex technology with the most desirable nutrients. During this 90-minute treatment, powerful antioxidants will work to counteract the damage of free radicals – caused by pollution and stress, which can damage the skin.

First, the skin is detoxed, followed by deep cleansing with exfoliation before a brightening agent is applied. Clients can then expect hydration, and rejuvenation ahead of a red and infrared LED, which is used to combat redness. Priced at AED 1,500, the HydraFacial leaves skin with an immediate glow.

For a real step into the world of the elite, guests can opt for the Dr. Rita Rakus Monte Carlo Brilliance Facial. This treatment was developed for attendees of the Monaco Grand Prix and the Monaco Rose Ball. The facial, priced at AED 1,320, is combined with advanced lifting technology, delivering exceptional glowing and lifted results. Over the course of 90 minutes, clients will experience detox, brightening, and rejuvenation steps, followed by the use of infrared LED to stimulate collagen production. An additional ‘double lift’ included to this signature facial is an advanced ultrasound and radio frequency delivery system resulting in that lifted glow effect.

For a top-to-toe rejuvenation, guests can try The Dr. Rita “Machine Queen” Body Rejuvenation Treatment. After an initial consultation, any part of the body can be treated for AED 680 per area.
