Piatti by the Beach, located at the iconic Raffles the Palm Dubai, will transport guests to bella Italia with its array of chic dining experiences. From the white padded stones to the magenta flowers, the destination is one of Dubai’s most resplendent restaurants, where guests are instantly engulfed by the charm of the Southern Italian Coast.
Inspired by the culinary traditions, as well as the love and nostalgia woven throughout the flavours of the region, the legendary Chef Izu Ani is proud to helm the culinary operations of this highly esteemed venue with head chef Francesco Cortorillo.
A divine Summer Menu boasting an array of delicacies will give guests a glimpse into Italian heaven. Diners can start with a Crudi selection which includes Gillardeau Oysters served with Amalfi lemons, Carpaccio di Gambero, Sicilian red prawns with citrus zest and caviar twist, or Le Nostre Tartare, Piatti by the Beach’s selection of seabass, bluefin tuna, and beef tenderloin tartares. A variety of hot and cold starters are also available, including Burrata Pugliese DOP con Pomodori Datterino, Alici marinate in agrodolce, marinated anchovies with sweet and sour onions served with garlic bread, Polpettine al Sugo, wagyu meatballs with Neapolitan tomato ragout, as well as the scrumptious Parmigiana di Melanzane to name a few.
Guests can also opt for a selection of delicious fresh salads or try an indulgent pasta dish, such as the Tagliolini allo Scoglio, fresh tagliolini pasta with mussels, clams, prawns, squid and cherry tomatoes or the Linguine alla Eugenio with Carabineros prawns, Datterino tomatoes, mullet bottarga and lemon zest. For the mains, Piatti’s signature dishes will be served, such as the Cotoletta alla Milanese, the exquisite veal Milanese on the bone with rocket salad and cherry tomatoes, the Scampi o Gamberoni reali alla Griglia, Langoustines with King Prawns Carabineros on the grill, and the Catch of the Day, where the freshest fish in Dubai will be cooking to each diner’s preference, leaving guests saying “mamma mia”.
Upon completing a blissful meal, guests can treat themselves to a classic, creamy Tiramisu, Cannolo a modo nostro with Ricotta, pistachio, chocolate and candite orange or Tagliata di frutta, fresh fruits of the season.
Little ones are not to be forgotten, with a special summer menu featuring some of the bambini’s favourite and most wholesome dishes such as the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina with smooth tomato sauce and mozzarella, Bocconcini di Pollo croccanti, deep fried chicken breast with French fries, Penne alla Bolognese, or the Filetti di Spigola impanati con Verdure, seabass fish fingers with vegetables.
Diners can also enjoy “GOTTI & CICCHETTI” (Wine and Italian Tapas), a lavishing wine-tasting menu with tapas pairing, on the breathtaking seafront terrace of Piatti by the Beach. Every culinary journey will begin with a selection of salmon, seabass, and Bluefin tuna Crostini and mouthwatering Traditional Sicilian Prawns Arancino, followed by a selection of other tasty dishes such as Crispy Potato Fritters and Ravioli Capresi with Buffalo Mozzarella. This extraordinary experience is priced at AED 150 per person and is available daily between 12:30pm -6pm
“SERATA IN PIAZZETTA” is Piatti by the Beach’s ultimate Unlimited Italian Aperitivo, including a selection of ice-chilled Prosecco, cocktails such as Negroni and Aperol, beer, and spirits. To complement the alcoholic beverages, a unique menu of favourite Italian bites will leave guests wanting more. The Parmigiana di Melanzane is made with love from Nonna Mia’s kitchen, along with the Polpettine al Sugo, beef meatballs with fresh tomato sauce, and Arancino ai Porcini, rice balls with mushroom and freshly grated parmesan cheese. The Unlimited Italian Aperitivo is served daily from 6pm to 8pm for AED 195 per person.
