WORLD-RENOWNED DR. RITA RAKUS PARTNERS WITH RAFFLES THE PALM DUBAI TO LAUNCH INNOVATIVE NEW TREATMENTS
Raffles The Palm Dubai is welcoming a host of pioneering anti-ageing facials, treatments and therapies by world-famous London-based Aesthetic doctor Dr Rita Rakus. Dr Rakus’s patients are international royalty, celebrities and industry leaders.
Created for profound wellbeing and palatial pleasure, the resort offers a fitting new home for Dr Rita Rakus’ programme of famed face and body treatments. As iconic as the five-star beach palace itself and its Palm Jumeirah location, for beauty enthusiasts, Dr Rakus needs little introduction.
The only aesthetic doctor to have their name on the Wall of Honour at the Royal Society of Medicine, she is renowned throughout the beauty world as a trailblazer. Created with her 25 years of medical aesthetic and anti-ageing experience, Dr Rakus’ treatments combine pioneering techniques and cosmetic treatments using the very latest in technology. Her London flagship clinic, in Knightsbridge, takes centre stage in the aesthetics industry, with a reputation as a hub for innovation and excellence.
New Raffles The Palm Wellness Menu treatments include Dr. Rita Rakus Ultimate Award-Winning Red-Carpet Facial, which promises to restore youthful, lifted, healthy skin using patented Vortex technology with the most desirable nutrients. During this 90-minute treatment, powerful antioxidants will work to counteract the damage of free radicals – caused by pollution and stress, which can damage the skin.
First, the skin is detoxed, followed by deep cleansing with exfoliation before a brightening agent is applied. Clients can then expect hydration, and rejuvenation ahead of a red and infrared LED, which is used to combat redness. Priced at AED 1,500, the HydraFacial leaves skin with an immediate glow.
For a real step into the world of the elite, guests can opt for the Dr. Rita Rakus Monte Carlo Brilliance Facial. This treatment was developed for attendees of the Monaco Grand Prix and the Monaco Rose Ball. The facial, priced at AED 1,320, is combined with advanced lifting technology, delivering exceptional glowing and lifted results. Over the course of 90 minutes, clients will experience detox, brightening, and rejuvenation steps, followed by the use of infrared LED to stimulate collagen production. An additional ‘double lift’ included to this signature facial is an advanced ultrasound and radio frequency delivery system resulting in that lifted glow effect.
For a top-to-toe rejuvenation, guests can try The Dr. Rita “Machine Queen” Body Rejuvenation Treatment. Named by the press in honour of Dr. Rakus’ pioneering use of machines, the treatment uses a mix of technologies used in the HydraFacial system but on the body. After an initial consultation, any part of the body can be treated for AED 680 per area.
Tired air travellers can book The “Machine Queen” Maximum Jetlag Recovery Treatment. In just 1 hour and 45 minutes, the body can be completely rejuvenated from symptoms of jetlag. The treatment, priced at AED 1,400, uses a combination of the latest technology. Guests will use Lymphastim Pants, which begins by filling up air in the guests’ feet and moving upwards. Next is the X-Wave device, which uses non-invasive shock wave technology to create mechanical vibrations that accelerate oxygen supply to the body’s tissues, eliminating cellulite.
Speaking on the launch of her treatments, Dr Rakus said: “I am thrilled to be launching Dr Rita Rakus’s innovative treatments at Raffles The Palm Dubai. Dubai is a cutting-edge luxury market where its residents and visitors expect to receive the latest and best products and services. Many of my patients from Dubai travel to my Knightsbridge, London clinic for my unique treatments, and now I can offer so many of these to them in their home market. Dubai is a premier destination for many of my London patients, so I am now able to look after them when they travel to Dubai. Raffles defines innovation, luxury, and personalised service, which is synonymous with my philosophy. I am proud and excited to work with the exceptional team at Raffles The Palm Dubai and look forward to welcoming their guests from around the world and Dubai.”
Guests can also enjoy a plethora of individual treatments and add-ons at an additional cost, including Dr Rita’s powerful face and body boosters, where the Exilis machine is used for both the face and body, the Deesse Mask Pro (a medical grade light therapy mask), X-Wave Non-Invasive Shock Therapy, Lymphastim Pants System treatments, or Visia (an advanced medical grade skin analysis system).
